The court denied release on bail under §3142(i)(4) for defendant charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics, felon in possession of firearms, and possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking. The court concluded that "neither the COVID-19 pandemic in and of itself, Defendant’s medical condition [he had no evidence of high COVID risk medical conditions], nor his complaint of lack of access to counsel provide a basis for relief." Further, given his criminal history and prior supervision violations indicated there was no "appropriate person" to whom he could be released.
